What types of buildings does EnergyX work with?

EnergyX specializes in commercial, mixed-use, and large residential buildings — typically 5,000 sqm or larger. Our technology is most impactful on buildings with significant envelope area and energy demand, such as office towers, hotels, hospitals, and large residential developments.

How early in the design process should we engage EnergyX?

The earlier, the better. EnergyX Intelligence can model BIPV performance at concept stage, allowing facade orientation, massing, and glazing ratios to be optimized for energy yield. Engaging at RIBA Stage 1 or equivalent delivers the greatest value — though we can also work on retrofit and later-stage projects.

What markets do you currently operate in?

We currently operate across four units: Korea (technology origin), MENA/Qatar (global HQ and industrial scale hub), U.S. (foundry retrofit), and France (European operations). Our team on the ground in Doha makes us particularly well-positioned for GCC projects, where we understand the regulatory environment, grid structure, and client expectations at a deep level.

How does EnergyX reduce BIPV cost by ~50%?

EnergyX Foundry uses Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) methods to produce custom BIPV panels at factory precision, with installation connectors and sequencing pre-engineered for rapid site assembly. This eliminates most of the on-site labor cost and rework that drives up conventional BIPV projects.
